Hey all, i recently came across a study titled Macronutrient Concentrations in Cannabis sativa L. as Influenced by Fertilizer Type and Rate (DOI: 10.1186/s42238-020-00056-8). The research suggests that fertilizer management can have a significant impact on both cannabinoid profiles and overall yield. Also, a detailed practical guide by Greenhouse Grower on nutrient management (Nutrition Management for Cannabis) offers some solid strategies for indoor cultivation. Has anyone implemented these approaches, or seen differences when using organic vs. synthetic nutrients?

Thanks for the links, John. I checked out the Greenhouse Grower guide recently – lots of good pointers on balancing nutrient solutions. The study’s data aligns with what I’ve seen in my own grow. Curious to hear if anyone here has tried mixing organic inputs with these methods?

Skimmed that study, and it kinda echoes my experience. My yields improved when I fine-tuned the nutrient ratios, but haven't really experimented with organic mixes yet. Might be worth a try if u’re up for more lab work.
